Viewing the Big Five has also never been easier or safer in this malaria free zone. The famous Addo Elephant Park is only half an hour outside Port Elizabeth as are a number of other game farms.

Port Elizabeth, the landing site of the 1820 Settlers, is steeped in history.  There are a number of city walks available for you to discover the history and beauty of one of South Africa’s oldest cities, including a night ghost walk in the diverse suburb of Central.  There are also a number of township and cultural tours available.
